 Kaylah Joseph, a dynamic 28-year-old innovator and HBCU graduate of Oakwood University,  has fearlessly carved her path across diverse industries for the past fourteen years. Fueled by  her passion for data analytics and armed with a social work degree, she's dedicated to crafting  affordable, accessible, and inclusive solutions for life's challenges.  

As the visionary CEO of LAID Hair Care, Kaylah places women at the forefront of their hair care  journey, wholeheartedly celebrating the beauty of diverse hair styles. LAID Hair Care offers a  spectrum of hair possibilities, from elegant finger waves to bold cornrows, promoting not just  style but also optimum hair health.  In a groundbreaking move, she recently pioneered the opening of the first beauty supply store  franchise in collaboration with Walmart, making history as both a woman and a Black  entrepreneur. LAID Beauty Bar is a beacon of empowerment, providing communities with  top-tier ingredients, products, and transformative beauty experiences for customers of all ages.  Both divisions under Kaylah's leadership are committed to environmental responsibility and  strive to create opportunities for women within their workforce. 

LAID Hair Care is not only a  supplier to the retail giant Walmart but also extends its impact to additional Fortune 500  companies.  Kaylah's commitment to fairness is evident in her approach to employment, ensuring equitable  pay, respecting skill sets, and rejecting excessive NDAs that hinder women from showcasing  their contributions to the company. 

Beyond LAID Hair Care, Kaylah is a co-owner and Managing  Partner of 611 Ventures, overseeing the engineering and development of innovations spanning  the automotive, outdoors, home goods, beauty, tech, and energy sectors. Her journey is a  testament to resilience, empowerment, and a relentless pursuit of positive change.
